Obama, Biden, and mouthpiece Piers Morgan – The BIG Lie

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.

Who said that? People often paraphrase this quote in different ways, and I’ll tell you who said it later, but I offer it here as the perfect description of how Obama and crew slam socialism down our throats  and trample the Constitution while telling us it’s for our own good. Dancing in the blood of 20 children at Sandy Hook is just another day at the office for these miscreants. But they are not alone.

Piers Morgan, a disgraced Brit newspaper editor and UK citizen, now a CNN propagandist, is Obama’s socialist, gun control mouthpiece. His BIG LIE  is a pair of made-up numbers, which even if they were real are taken out of context. Morgan uses inaccurate numbers to taut that the U.S. firearm deaths are greater than in the gun-banned U.K. He’s a one-trick pony.

Here’s another pertinent quote:

The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly – it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.

Evil so-called “assault weapons”. “No one needs 10 bullets [sic] to kill a deer.” Etc. Remember the Clinton daily talking points to sell the unsellable in 1994? Everyone interviewed from his adoring circle repeated the same words over and over. Now we have Obama, Biden, Feinstein, Bloomberg, and their lap dogs across the country repeating their common lies about modern sporting rifles and normal-capacity magazines. Coincidence? Hardly.

I’ve already written about how the U.K. is the most violent country in Europe and even compared to South Africa. The U.S. isn’t even in that top 10 list. So, although the U.S. has more murders with firearms than the U.K., though the difference isn’t as great as Morgan lies about, the gunless U.K.’s violent crime rate is almost 5 times higher than ours! Gun control opened up the sluice gates for violent predators in the U.K. who no longer fear their victims.

Worse for Obama, Biden, and Morgan, a quick look at international statistics shows that higher rates of gun ownership DO NOT correspond to higher rates of violent crime. It turns out that data exists to analyze. Although the U.S. ranks first in the world in gun ownership per capita, it ranks way down at 28th for homicides with firearms, well behind Ecuador which ranks 142nd in ownership. Mexico forbids citizens to own firearms, and that’s working out great. Bandits and cartels rule the country. The NRA is right – only a good guy with a gun can stop a bad guy with a gun.

So, what’s the statistical relationship between the national average number of firearms per 100 people and national firearm homicides per capita? Glad you asked. I downloaded the spreadsheet and ran that correlation. The correlation between the national average number of firearms per 100 people and national firearm homicides per capita is -0.1. In statistical terms, there’s a small negative correlation between firearm ownership and firearm homicide. In plain English, there’s an international “more guns leads to less crime trend”just like in the U.S. That’s something you won’t read in the mainstream press or hear from Obama and his professional liars.

However, there are a few real journalists left in this country. Ben Swann of Fox19 also looked closely at Morgan’s lies. Swann actually dissects Morgan’s numbers, as well as examines the U.K.’s horrendous violent crime rate. He cut through Morgan’s lies very nicely.

Which brings me back to the above quotes. The left-wing, anti-Constitution crowd lives by those tidbits. You hear the talking points at every White House press conference and CNN report. So, who originated the quotes? Bill Clinton? Alinsky? No, try Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s brilliant minister of propaganda. The left, including Obama and his mentor Alinsky, has been borrowing the Nazi playbook in more than just their hate for liberty-guaranteeing firearms. Why not? It worked great back then. Don’t look shocked. Like Hitler in Germany and Stalin in the USSR, Obama wants to confiscate the peoples’ guns, using unconstitutional, dictatorial means if necessary. Obama and his leftist crowd probably rejoiced in their hearts after the 20 children were tragically murdered at Sandy Hill because it gave them a window to destroy our liberty. Maybe even become president for life.

But it’s a limited window, which is why Obama and Biden want to quickly leverage the senseless tragedy caused by a psychopath to paint lawful gun owners and their defensive firearms as the problem. To have any chance of success, they must strike while he can still fuel the emotions of folks who are too stupid to see their liberties being stripped away. Part of the strategy is to have pockets of extreme proposals like Illinois, Iowa and New York to make whatever he says sound sane – the lesser of the evils. But rest assured, it will be like the lobster in a pot of warm water on a lit stove. By the time he sees the fatal danger boiling up, it will be too late. Once the guns are gone, the Constitution becomes worthless, and the Amendments in the Bill of Rights will fall one-by-one, if that slowly.

Ted Nugent has it exactly right. Remember what kicked off the first American Revolution. The British were marching on Concorde to confiscate the colonists guns. Still think that Alex Jones is nuts? Think again. The leading mass murders in the 20th century were governments, not citizens with modern sporting rifles. Fear the government that fears your guns.
