Obama’s Civilian National Security Force

I wrote here how the only alternative to a free, armed citizenry was either anarchy or a police state. Well, it seems that Obama agrees. He’s opting for the police state:

Just as powerful as our military? Just as strong as our military? Just as well-funded as our military? Nothing as convenient as having your own private, civilian, socialist army. There goes another trillion dollars of our redistributed wealth. If you’re into the history of such things, I might suggest reading up on the history of the SS in 1930’s Germany. It started small but later became an incredibly powerful, well-armed, well-funded force in that country. It, too, was a “civilian” national security force to counter-balance the military, which the chancellor of Germany at that time didn’t trust. Sounds like a very close parallel.

I had the privilege of attending the promotion ceremony yesterday for a good friend who used to work for me. At every Air Force promotion, we re-administer their oath. In that oath, we swear to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Obama knows that the military has sworn to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. He needs a different force to carry out his socialist will. His problem is that the only national security force authorized in the Constitution of the United States is the military.

It will start innocent enough, but don’t be fooled. A man who associated with socialist, radical terrorists like Bill Ayers, Carl Davidson, and Rashid Khalidi; socialist purveyors like Rev. Wright, the New Party, ACORN, etc.; and who operates by the socialist Rules for Radicals, will have no trouble finding uses for a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, strong, and well-funded as the military.

Obama keeps excusing these associations by saying that he knows lots of people. He says that none of these people are his close advisors. Let me ask you something: how many of you know people like terrorists from the Weatherman Underground, Student for a Democratic Society, radical liberation theology preachers, corporate criminals, or Palestinian terrorists? How come one candidate for president has associated and appreciated people from all of these groups and more? I could buy one or two such people in one’s life, but not the number that we know and is growing in Obama’s embarrassing list. It’s impossible for anyone to accumulate such a broad list of unsavory associates without actually seeking them out. And all have been encountered during his formative years in Chicago and Illinois socialist politics. These people aren’t accidents, no more than the pitch for a trillion-dollar civilian national security force.

Lastly, imagine if President Bush had suggested such a thing. People would be screaming “police state” and “abuse of power.” They’d be right. So, why is Obama met by cheers from an adoring crowd while he proposes stomping all over the Constitution?

Vote for Freedom, reject the civilian national security force. Vote for John McCain, who understands that the military is the only constitutional national security force.
