Biden is an idiot. He says that an AR-15 isn’t good for home defense. Since any news about such incidents is hidden from the public, it’s hard for some folks to know the truth.
Bob Lonsberry wrote about such a cover-up in What the Police Chief Covered Up. Turns out that there were two armed home invasions in the same area within 5 hours of each other. The first victims were unarmed and were robbed at gunpoint. The bad guys won.
In the second home invasion, the predatory thugs were met by two students, one with an AR-15 and the other with a 9mm semi-auto pistol, probably with normal capacity magazines (i.e., 14-16 rounds). The armed but cowardly thugs ran away empty handed.
Interestingly, the first incident made the news, while the second did not until Lonsberry publicized it. As he said,

Have you ever heard Dr. Greg Bahnsen’s debate versus a citizen disarmament advocate from the PCUSA? I did a review of the debate yesterday.

I have an AR pistol setup for home-defense, complete with standard-capacity (30 round) magazines.

It’s so ridiculous how the media and society looks at guns, even though they have been part of America for hundreds of years. When guns are used to kill innocent people like at Sandy Hook, they are terrible and awful things, but when instances come up when they are actually useful for home protection no one even cares or notices

Thanks for stopping by! I saw an article today that clocked the media articles at something like 8:1 against the 2nd Amendment. Obama has his own propaganda ministry, destroying the “free press” clause in the 1st Amendment. Not surprising, since he trashed the free-exercise clause in the 1st with Obamacare’s mandates.

I have no problem with Obama, the way society and the media look at guns is ridiculous like I said. I got my degree in journalism so i know that the media is the bigger part of the problem. That being said, there are just as many hero’s out there with guns as there are villains and in a society that loves it’s hero’s its disappointing to see that these hero’s are never heard about, other then the police or the military.

Actually, there are far more heroes than villains. There are around 80 million firearms in the U.S., about 88.8 firearms per 100 people. Only a very tiny fraction are used in crimes. The media makes it sound like gun crimes are rampant but are not, and have decreased dramatically as gun ownership rates have continued to grow. Lawful gun ownership has helped drive down violent crime in the U.S. for decades while violent crime in the U.K. and Australia have increased dramatically since the instituted their gun bans. America is living the truth that only a good guy with a gun can stop a bad guy with a gun.
