Well, many totals are now in. Accuweather has a good summary. Here in the DC area we set a new record for October29 of 0.6″, which doesn’t sound like much, but it has never snowed on October 29th in recorded local history. More impressive was the 19″ in West Milford, NJ and 25.5″ in Ashford, MA. Ouch. There’s a great picture from Stamford, CT, on another Accuweather page.
Almost makes you wish for global warming. I notice that those fools have been pretty quit since the polar bear and global temperature record frauds have hit the public sphere. And the extra feets and feets of snow over the last 3 years hasn’t helped their scam, either.
